Ultra Braid Kanekalon (trimmed) is a material designed primarily for boxer braids, loose ponytails, as well as Afro braids, woven-in braids, extravagant hairstyles, or hair extensions. Thanks to the tapered ends, this Kanekalon is lightweight and ready for immediate weaving.
The strand length is 130 cm and 65 cm when folded in half. Each package contains 3 bundles of 90 g each, for a total of 270 g. One package is enough for 2 boxer braids or a high ponytail. You can create approximately 50 braids from one package; for Afro braids, we recommend 2–3 packages.
Kanekalon can be styled using a hot air dryer or a hair straightener set to 130°C. You can also secure the end of a braid with boiling water, by melting the ends together, with a knot, or using hair ties. To achieve the best results, we recommend testing the finishing method on one braid first and then applying it to the rest of the strands. Not all colors may react to heat in the same way.
