100% Jumbo Braid is a material for rasta braids, braided braids, classic dreads and pseudo dreads. Jumbo Braid canekalon can also be used to create ponytails, extravagant hairstyles and hairpieces.
The fibre is slightly crepey, so it does not slip when braiding and gives the braids the desired volume. The length of the fibre is 120cm and the weight of one pack is approximately 85gr. One pack makes approximately 25pcs of braids or 10pcs of double-ended pseudo dreadlocks 0,5cm thick. In practice, there are approximately 150 braids or 60-70 double-ended pseudo dreadlocks per head.
The 100% kanekalon jumbo braid can be ironed on low heat to a straight grain texture. The fiber can also be straightened with hot air using a hair dryer and brush.
Braids can be finished by fusing, hot water, knotting or using rubber bands. For best results, we recommend that you test the finishing method on one braid first and then apply it to the rest of the strands. Not all colours may react to heat in the same way.
