100% Jumbo Braid Kanekalon is a material designed for rasta braids, braided hairstyles, classic dreads and pseudo dreads. Jumbo Braid Kanekalon can also be used to create ponytails, extravagant hairstyles and hairpieces.

The fibre is slightly structured, therefore it does not slip when braiding and gives the braids the desired volume. The length of the fibre after folding is 100cm and the weight of one pack is approximately 165gr. From one pack you can create approximately 30pcs of braids or 10pcs of double-ended pseudo dreads 0,5cm thick. In practice, for one head you can make approximately 120 braids or 30-50pcs of double-ended pseudo dreads.

The 100% kanekalon jumbo braid can be ironed on a low temperature to a silky straight texture. The grain can also be straightened with hot air using a hair dryer and brush.

Braids can be finished by fusing, hot water, knotting or using rubber bands. For best results we recommend trying the finishing method on one braid first and then applying to the rest of the strands. Not all colours may react to heat in the same way.
